We saw the first German Grand slam champion of the 21st Century when Angelique Kerber dethroned the in-form Serena for her maiden major title; a record 6th title for our World no.1 Novak Djokovic as he equals Roy Emerson, Lleyton Hewitt played the last match of his career; Jamie Murray broke the Jinx finally and lifted his first Grand Slam Trophy; Hingis-Sania’s amazing Unbeaten run and Soares’ double slam.
